The stage runs mostly in woodland on forest roads. Some pastures with animals are also passed. The last 3.6 km of the stage is on paved footpaths and cycle paths. On this stretch you can use nature as a seat as there are no prepared rest areas.
Etappen startar med vandring på den gamla banvallen som nu är asfalterad gång- och cykelbana. Efter 2,5 km är det grusväg och skogsväg resten av etappen. Delar av denna etapp hör också till Åsundenleden och Redvägsleden.
