- NOTE! Recently, unauthorized burning has caused unfortunate ground fires around Stensjön, among other places. Only burn in the fireplaces set up by the Tyresta National Park Foundation and never anywhere else.
- Many spruce trees have died after being attacked by the spruce bark beetle and are now at risk of falling. Be careful and avoid walking in the forest when it is windy. Applies to the whole route.
Description
Fornborgsslingan - characterized by wilderness and the 1999 fire area. The loop is demanding to walk, partly through the fire area, but offers wonderful views of Stensjön. A swim is a nice break during the summer, and if you want to barbecue or spend the night, there are two barbecue areas, one of which has a shelter.
