Kättsätter MTB-led, 7 km

The mountain bike trail in Kättsätter consists of two loops, 5 and 7 km. The 7 km trail contains a mix of fast parts, technical parts and some tricky small hills. The trail is marked with black bikes on a white background.

The trail starts at the parking lot and goes clockwise south along the marked hiking trail. In some parts, the track runs on the same path as the hiking trail. Then it is important to get along, show extra consideration and be attentive when passing hikers. After about 500 meters there is a smaller path that turns left from the hiking trail. Here it is important to keep up with the curves as the path turns a lot. Back on the hiking trail, a short distance before it turns right, comes a shorter and more technical part.

Then it becomes an easier section on wide paths along rolling fields. Back up in the forest, this time deciduous forest, you get to tackle a short steep hill where it is important to have power in your legs and the right gear. Here in the spring, you can enjoy cycling along white fields of white anemones. Just before you reach Borgsmo shooting range, the trail turns sharp right and you come back into the spruce forest. After a few short hills, you stay on the forest floor via rocks and footbridges. Soon you reach a wider path that after a downhill turns down over a field, through an oak grove and you are at the finish.
