Parismåla by

From the trail you can see Lake Törn. The village center of Parismåla still has the old road in the center of the village. The winding gravel road and stone walls, mature pollarded trees, garden fences with gates to the road characterize the village. There are several traditional farms and buildings. A common post office with preserved mailboxes, as well as a common tractor shed where the common tractor stood, are located in the center of the village and testify to living conditions in the early 1900s. The fields are irregular and are partly characterized by older wooded field mounds. The foundations of a kiln are also present. A prehistoric settlement has been registered. The village has long continuity and is located in the border area, next to Södra Lindön where Nils Dacke is said to have had his farm. The village is also one of those bordering the Lyckebyån river and has used the food fields for haymaking.
