Bokskogen vid Grimsgöl

Here you walk on the grounds of Grimsgöl manor. Grimsgöl is the only manor house that has existed in Emmaboda municipality and is also one of the largest estates in the municipality. The farm with its main building from the 1860s with associated wing buildings and farm buildings is representative of its type. The well-kept farm buildings are clustered in an open agricultural landscape with several older landscape elements preserved. In the forests around the farm there are still traces of the various activities, in addition to agriculture, that were carried out on the farm, such as the saw and mill. The large beech forest gives a special character to the area and is particularly beautiful when the light green leaves come out in the spring.
