Scenic campsite located at the southern tip of Lake Halen. There are two shelters, one of which has a fireplace. There is also a barbecue area with seating at the far end of the headland. If you have a tent with you, there are good opportunities to pitch it in the open areas. Waste sorting and two toilets are available at the campsite. The washrooms are well attended by both paddlers and hikers so be sure to show consideration for each other so that everyone can fit. A little further east along the hiking trail there is another barbecue area where it is possible to camp in the forest.
