Pieboda borders Halen Nature Reserve to the northeast and Sveaskog's Raslången Ecopark to the west. You will find the reserve about three kilometers west of Jämshög, at the southern end of Lake Halen.From Jämshög take the road towards Boafall. The road passes the southern part of the reserve. Blekingeleden goes through the reserve. You can also hike to the reserve or paddle there on Lake Halen.

You are welcome to visit Pieboda, but please note that it is not allowed to

• damage land, destroy or damage solid natural objects or surface formations
• prospect for minerals
• damage ruins, stone walls, cairns, roads or other cultural-historical remains
• disturb wildlife
• damage growing or dead trees and shrubs, or vegetation in general, or remove dead wood
• pick mosses, lichens or wood-living fungi, other than what is reasonably necessary for species identification
• capture or collect plants, fungi or animals in such a way as to damage or destroy their biotopes or reproductive habitats
• planting plant or animal species alien to the area, as well as breeds/types alien to the area
• carry an unleashed dog other than for hunting
• drive vehicles or ride horses other than on the road
• camping for more than one day
• setting up a caravan or camper overnight
• light a fire other than on a specially prepared fireplace.

Without permission from the county administrative board, you may not

• conduct scientific research involving sampling, marking, trapping, installation of equipment or any form of impact on plant or animal life
• use the area for competitions, camps or exercises that may disturb nature or the public's outdoor life
• put up a board, poster, sign, signpost, inscription or similar device, other than temporarily (for a maximum of one week) in connection with hunting or organized outdoor activities.
