Bird paradise in the middle between Nyköping and Oxelösund
Strandstuviken Nature Reserve is one of the county's most valuable resting places for migratory birds, around 250 species have been observed here. The area consists of a couple of narrow protruding headlands and two shallow bays, Snäckviken and Strandstuviken, which are completely open to the sea.
Directions
The bird tower is located in Strandstuviken Nature Reserve on the Baltic coast between Nyköping and Oxelösund. It is most easily reached by car through Nyköping, at Arnö. Follow the road east towards Strandstuviken camping and bathing area. From the parking lot there is a path to the reserve. Hike about 8 km from Nyköping along the Sörmlandsleden.
