Varg-Fredriks hut

A bit into the forest from the gravel road is "Varg-Fredriks koja", a hut or cottage in the forest built around 1835-1840. The wolf hunter Carl Carlsson lived here with his wife Maja Jonsdotter. They had four children together, but only two reached adulthood, Carl-Fredrik and Stina-Maja.
On site there is still a relic of the hut, a bench table and a drawer with a guest book. At the gravel road there is an information board and a directional arrow that leads visitors on the right path.
