Description
South of Borensberg and southeast of Lake Boren is Vålberga bog nature reserve. Wetlands used to be frequent in the plain landscape of Östergötland, but after ditching it has become a scarce commodity in the landscape. Vålberga bog is therefore unique with its location on the edge of Östergötland's plain landscape.
The nature reserve is managed by Länsstyrelsen Östergötland.

Vägbeskrivning: Från rv 34 kör man in mitt emot Brunneby kyrka mot Österstad. Efter ca 4,5 km tar man av mot höger mot Vålberga. Efter ca 1,5 km finns en mindre p-plats i Vålberga stugby.
