Description
Råå nature reserve consists of coarse, spruce limestone forest on Östgötaslätten. The area is rich in moving groundwater and there is plenty of dead wood in the form of freshly killed spruces and coarse dead spruces. There is a hiking trail in the reserve but the area is not recommended for outdoor activities due to fallen trees after the storms Gudrun and Per have made it no longer possible to follow the trail.
The nature reserve is managed by Länsstyrelsen Östergötland
