Västanviks samfällighetsförening owns the land, including the old pine forest, along the entire trail and it is the residents in the area who take care of the trail and all outdoor facilities.

Directions
Östgötaleden Medevi-Västanvik passes here. You can park the car either at Medevi or Rustninge Västanvik and then follow Östgötaleden. By bus go (line 629) to the stop Västanviksvägen and walk past Nätholmsvägen and then turn left at the next intersection.
