Description

The bird tower in Sjöbo-Knäppan nature reserve is located about 400 m from the reserve car park. The forest and reeds around the shore of Lake Boren are full of life and from the greenery you can hear Common Rosefinches, Thrush Nightingales and Redwing mixed with the most discreet sounds from Hawfinch and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. In the spring, Boren's beaches boil of playing frogs and the Western Marsh Harrier can be seen hunting over reeds during the summer.
