[Norrköping] Ågelsjön runt

If you want to experience magnificent wilderness just a stone's throw from the city, Ågelsjön, north of Åby outside Norrköping, is the place to go!

Here you'll find magical forests and high dramatic mountains that sometimes plunge straight down into the clear water. There is a hiking trail around the lake that starts and ends at the Hultsbruk parking lot.

The loop goes through the Ågelsjön nature reserve in a varied and scenic environment. It also offers some challenges in the steeper parts on the north side of the lake. Around the lake there are many picnic areas and nice swimming opportunities, including via a handicap-accessible ramp.
