Description
Singeltorp’s fly is a nature reserve close to Lenhovda. The area is protected and has been since 2000. The reserve consists mostly of wetlands and coniferous forest. There is also a small lake and an esker. This area together with Gripagårdsflyet make up a system of almost untouched wetlands.
In this area can you see cranes and capercaillies.

There is two parking spaces nearby the reserve.
Directions
You can reach the reserve in many ways due to its closeness to Lenhovda. Its approximately 30 minutes’ walk from the bus terminal.
If you're traveling with car take road 28/31 south and then follow the signs to Merhult. Then keep a lookout for a white sign that says “Naturreservat”. Follow that small gravel road for about 2 km until you reach the reserves parking space. You can also follow the road for another kilometre and park at Västra mark.
Regulations
You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:
- destroy or damage any fixed natural object or surface formation, for example by digging, drilling, chopping, painting, chiseling or otherwise damaging, for example, rocks, boulders or living and dead trees,
- drive or park a motorized vehicle or trailer other than within the designated parking area (when retrieving felled moose, deer or wild boar, motor vehicles may be used on solid ground),
- camping or staying overnight in a motorhome or caravan,
- make fires
- pick or dig up rice, herbs, mushrooms, mosses and lichens other than berries and edible mushrooms for domestic use
- collect insects, snails, worms or other invertebrates
- disturbing wildlife, for example, by being too close to a bird's nest or pot,
- putting up a board, sign, poster or similar device
Actions that are part of a scientific study approved in advance by the County Administrative Board are exempt from regulations 5, 6 and 7.
