Hedasjön’s nature reserve is located between Lessebo and Lenhovda. The reserve consists of the lake with its islands, forests and some wetlands. It is an area that is of great importance for the local wildlife.

In the northern part of the reserve is there a small parking space.

Directions

Hedasjön’s nature reserve is close to the border of Lessebo’s municipality. Take the road that goes from Herråkra to Bergdala. Turn at the yellow sign for Kylleskruv. Just north of the village Heda is a small gravel road that goes eastwards along the northern parts of the reserve.

Regulations

You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:

  1. damage natural objects or surface formations, for example by digging, drilling, painting or chiseling on rocks and boulders
  2. break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs
  3. picking, damaging or digging up rice, herbs, mushrooms, mosses and lichens other than picking individual specimens. Berries and edible mushrooms may be picked for domestic use
  4. drive or park a motorized vehicle or trailer other than in a designated parking space
  5. set up a board, sign, poster, orienteering control or permanently mark out trails without permission from the manager
  6. conduct competitions, exercises, camps or similar activities without permission from the manager
  7. disturbing or harming wildlife, for example, by approaching a nest or playground.

Measures for scientific research that have been approved in advance by the County Administrative Board are excluded from these regulations.
