Description

Stones as far as the eye can see. Northwest of the village of Gullaskruv lies an area with stone rows in the pine forest. It is a remarkable and impressive reminder of the railway construction between Nybro and Sävsjöström. Here, sand was dug by hand from the gravel ridge. What remained were rows of coarse stones, arranged like embankments. There is also a wind shelter on site for those who wish to enjoy the place with a packed picnic.
