Fredriksbergs Herrgård & Herrgårdscafé

Beautifully located west of Oskarshamn is Fredriksberg Manor, a stately building from the 1780s built in Gustavian style.

The building is with its unique location, placed on a five-meter high stone terrace, with magnificent views of Döderhultsdalen, one of the county's most beautiful and most worth seeing manors. The manor is preserved in its original condition. In the parade floor there are interesting wall paintings on fabric, magnificent tiled stoves and exquisite carpentry details. The museum also has a fine collection of books from the 1780s and one of Sweden's largest mineral collections.

Herrgårdscafé

Guided tours

Guided tours are offered in the summer and during the rest of the year you can call to book a visit. Other events are also organized, such as guided tours of the theatre or lectures in a manor setting. The stable is a nice room available for rent, for example for weddings or other festivities.
