Description

The building that houses Alsterbro Minihotell was designed in 1957 by architects Reed Andersson and Arne Delborn from Kalmar. The building was built in 1958 for public dental care, health insurance and a police station with a guardroom, interrogation room and two arrests for local criminals. Here they were allowed to sleep off their intoxication on the simple bunks.

In the fall of 2009, this part of the house was transformed into Alsterbro Minihotell, a unique and modern mini-hotel with five guest rooms, a common room and a kitchen, all with their own toilet and shower, WiFi and TV.

A perfect starting point for exploring the Glasriket.
