Description
Valla mosse nature reserve is a vast marsh between two lakes, Västersjön and Östersjön. The bog is surrounded by low-lying, coniferous wooded islets with rows of deciduous trees. Among other things, snipe, tufted sedge and bottlebrush grow here. There is also Dalarna's only occurrence of marsh bracken. A marked hiking trail of about 5 km passes through the area.
