A New Concept at the New Kvarnfallet

Images

Kvarnfallet in Arboga is a charming restaurant and café located in a renovated mill by Lake Kvarnsjön, along the Hjälmare Canal, just south of Hjälmare Dock. It is now run by chef Emma, who combines traditional and innovative dishes. During the summer, the venue is open to the public during the day, serving food, homemade pastries, ice cream desserts, shrimp nights, and occasionally hosting concerts.

A few hundred meters away, there is a swimming area with a dock and parking. Visitors can also rent canoes and SUP boards via a self-service station. Kvarnfallet also offers the opportunity to book conferences, weddings, parties, and similar events throughout the year.

The café, located in the old mill section, opens during the summer months and serves pastries, light meals, and also features a small interior decor shop. It is usually open from Easter until autumn.

📍 Address: Hällby 307, 732 94 Arboga, Sweden

In short, Kvarnfallet is a peaceful and picturesque destination where nature, good food, swimming, and canal life come together – perfect for both spontaneous visits and planned celebrations.
