Kvarnsjön Hökensås

Kvarnsjön is located between Ottersjön and Bergsjön. The lake has fairly steep depths. No noble fish are planted in Lake M Kvarnsjön, but the lake has a good stock of perch and pike. There is a boat for hire in M Kvarnsjön. Boat license and key can be picked up at OK Q8 in Karlsborg (tel 0505-441 51). Please note that only cash payment is accepted when renting a boat. There are a couple of shelters with barbecue areas around the lake and a nice barbecue area is beautifully situated on the hill next to the road, with a fantastic view of the lake. The lake is located in Karlsborg municipality in Västergötland and is part of Motala Ström's main catchment area. It has an area of 0.0975 square kilometers and is 139.4 m above sea level.
