Visit the Fortress Museum in Karlsborg!
The magnificent Fortress Museum tells the story of the marketplace that became the kingdom's reserve capital. Here is also depicted the fortress building, the cavalry history, the associations used and the fortress as a training place and much more.

On top of the museum you will find the Garnison church, once thought of as a plenary hall for the Swedish Parliament, with a unique bayonet crown that is made at Karlsborg's Fortress. We celebrate the 200th anniversary with the new exhibition through the fortress's history 2019.
The museum is open all year round.
