15 Högbyn – Lilla Älgsjön | Bruksleden

The hike is easiest to start at Högbyn's old ski resort where there are also suitable parking facilities. The stage runs in a very varied forest landscape and is usually very tough. At times there is room to stretch your legs as you walk along the gravel road or easier paved road. On the way to Lilla Älgsjön where there is a rest house and barbecue area, you pass no less than three different nature reserves. You also walk a short distance within the framework of what is Malingsbo-Kloten Nature Reserve. The stage thus offers a lot for the curious. Right at the start of the stage, you will also pass the Skrikboravinen which, with its unique flora, is an excellent attraction.

The stage is very tough so be prepared for a full day in nature.
