Description
In Årsbäckens nature reserve you can walk along a magical little forest stream where the water varies throughout the year. There is a path that follows the stream. The rare forest linden grows along the water, but also maple, aspen, birch, alder and spruce.
In the fall you can pick various edible mushrooms. Here you can find hazel bushes and plants with intriguing names such as cinnamon rose, fern and coral root. Rare snails and slugs thrive in the shade between the trees.

Årsbäcken ligger 1,5 mil sydost om Skinnskatteberg. Kör från Skinnskatteberg på väg 233 mot Västerås. Kör cirka 9 kilometer. Sväng höger mot skylt "Kungsör och Kolsva". Följ väg 250 mot Kolsva. Kör igenom Färna och sväng vänster vid skylt "Solmyra". Kör cirka 6,2 kilometer. Då har du reservatet på vänster sida av vägen. Sväng vänster in på en grusväg. Kör cirka 2,5 kilometer till en parkering vid vägkanten.
