Located in Borgvik you can find this gem where art and food go hand in hand. The building that Sliperiet resides in used to be a wood and pulp mill and was built in 1903. Oscar Magnusson, the founder of Sliperiet, has created this business based on his 3 passions in life; art, food and music.

The art gallery is the heart of the business and has held exhibitions of some worlds famous artists. But what makes it so special is that it also gives both local and up and coming artists the opportunity to show or thier work here. They try to mix up the different styles of art shown in the art gallery to show that art exists in many shapes and sizes.

Gastronomy naturally became a part of Sliperiet in 2015. One set of stairs up to from the art gallery you can find lunch, á la carte and testing menus with ingredients handpicked depending on season. The restaurant has received many great reveiws in the White Guide.
