Description

The museum of history in Kristinehamn's city center.

Kristinehamn Historical Museum is centrally located in the Vågen district, not far from the Tourist Office.

The permanent historical exhibition, "Iron Built the Town," which tells the story of how Kristinehamn developed through ironworking, is on the upper floor. On the lower floor, you’ll find the museum shop and temporary exhibitions.

Please note that the museum has information only in Swedish. However, the staff is happy to assist you with information in English.

The museum is accessible, with a lift to the upper floor, free Wi-Fi, and is suitable for groups and children.

Guide dogs are allowed, but no other dogs are permitted inside.
