Stiklestad Icelandhorse Farm Pilgrim Accommodation

Charming old forge at an idyllic farm is located at Pilegrimsleden (The Pilgrim Trail.) The Farm is 2 km before the Church and the Museum at Stiklestad. The forge has three beds and four benches, and also acess to toilet, cold and warm water as well as cooking facilities.

Stiklestad Icelandhorse Farm is located at Pilegrimsleden 2 km before Stiklestad Church and Museum. Accommodations for pilgrims is offered in an old charming forge at the farm, with three beds and also four benches which can be used with sleeping bags.

There are acess til cooking, warm and cold water, and also toilet/WC. There is only 10 km from Vuku, but this is a suitable place for accommodation if you intend to visit Stiklestad with the Church built where St. Olav died in the battle in 1030, and the Medieval Museum.

Prices: Accommodation in bed in the forge with your own sleeping bag: NOK 450 pr person/night. Acess to cooking-facilities, cold/warm water and water toilet: NOK 150 pr person/night.

Dry food as soups, crisp bread and coffe/tea may be bought from the host, because it is 6 km to the nearest grocery in Verdal. Remember that the last grocery before Verdal is in Vuku, its also the last place to get norwegian cash.
