Furubu Cabin

Cozy cabin with simple standard surrounded by trees and cultural landscape. The cabin has 2 sleeping rooms with total 5-6 beds, innstalled electricity and necessary gears for self-household.

The cabin has entrance, kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms with 2 bunkbeds (4 beds) and a double bed (2 beds) There is not allowed to use sleeping bags ot sleeping bag sheets. The cabin has installed electricity, men not installed water. Drinking water is stored in large cans inside and water for washing is in rain barrels outside.

The kitchen has necessary equipment for self-household like water-boiler, microwave oven and frying-/cooking possibilities. The cabin has a traditional toilet outside and a simple outdoor wash and shower.

Wood stoves in kitchen and living-room, and possibilities to dry clothes inside and outside the cabin.

The cabin is fenced and at the outside there is grazing cows in the summer. Entrance to the cabin is with stairs over the fence, and then 30 meter walking to the cabin gate. Tenting is allowed inside the fence if confirmed by the hosts.

Prices: Accommodation included linen/towel and coffe/the: NOK 500 pr person/night. It is not allowed to use sleeping bags or sleeping bag sheets. It it possible to buy simple dry food from the cabin if needed. Wood for heating in the wood stoves are included/free for they who pay for accommodations inside the cabin, but not for camping outside.

Booking and Paying: For booking contact nilsen.cecilie@yahoo.com in advance. For drop-in you have to call the hosts when you arrive, and you need to pay by vips, or norwegian cash in a box inside the cabin before leaving the the cabin area.

Opening Hours: 1. June - 31. August

Camping: It is allowed to have a tent inside the fence around the cabin, but iit needs to be confirmed by the hosts. Tent/camping included use of the outhouse; NOK 200 pr person/night
