Medeviöarna (Medevi Islands)

The Medevi Islands form an archipelago-like environment that extends in a string of pearls from the Medevi bridge out into Lake Vättern. All islands except Boön are uninhabited. Boön is the island in Lake Vättern, with the exception of Visingsö, which has had a resident population the longest into modern times. Since the 1990s, however, there are only summer homes on the island. Along several of the islands' beaches there are low, smooth cliffs that invite you to take a nice dip and sunbathe during the hot summer months.
