Description
Bredsjömossen nature reserve is about 220 ha in size and is located by Bredsjön 7 km northeast of Godegård church in Motala. The nature offers varied nutrient-rich and nutrient-poor habitats. For example, there are herb-rich spruce forests, swamp forest mosaics and open bogs.
Bredsjömossen nature reserve can offer experiences of wilderness with bogs surrounded by varied forest. Swamp forest mosaic, deciduous forest and pine mosses. Here you can discover traces of beaver and hear the Common Snipe while wandering across the wetland and especially along the shores of Bredsjön.
The nature reserve is managed by Länsstyrelsen Östergötland.
