Actions
Description
In Ullebergsskogens nature reserve you can wander around in lovely old spruce forests. The area is 60 hectares in size and is home to an exciting fauna and flora. The area is surrounded by streams and swamp forests and escaped the 20th century logging because of its rocky terrain. However, the forest in the area has been attacked by the spruce bark beetle as a result of the many felled trees left behind by storms Gudrun and Per. Today, however, they serve a different purpose and are an important feature for a variety of insects, fungi and birds, including the lesser spotted woodpecker.
