Description
The northern part of the reserve consists of pine forest characterized by fire. The area is rocky and barren in places. Older, sluggish trees grow here and there, and there are also a number of dry trees (standing, dead trees).
In the easternmost part of the reserve there are some larch trees. Here the forest is more fertile and spruce-dominated, and there are also a number of traces of older human activities such as cairns.
On the northern slope towards Kasttjärnen, the forest consists of blueberry spruce forest typical of the area with some dead standing and fallen trees. Lichen has been found here, as well as violet-gray thorn lichen and woolly thistle, which indicates that the area has good natural values.
The bedrock consists mainly of granite, with the exception of the top of Kasttjärnsberget, which consists of gneiss tonalite.

- genomföra eller bedriva tävlingar, lägerverksamhet och andra större eller återkommande organiserade arrangemang.
