New Activity Arena Opened in Medåker
On August 30, Medåker’s new activity arena at Parkudden was officially opened. Here, the joy of movement awaits people of all ages, with activities for both beginners and experienced participants.
The facility is one of Västmanland’s first major paved pump tracks and also features a flow trail in a forest setting, a technical area with obstacles, a multisport trail for cycling, roller skiing, and walking, as well as an air rifle shooting range. The project was carried out by Medåkers IF with support from the General Inheritance Fund and RF-SISU.
The area is open to everyone and offers free admission and free parking. Lighting is available for evening activities, and some equipment can be borrowed through Medåkers IF.
With its combination of a pump track, flow trail, and activity trail, Parkudden has become a new destination for anyone who enjoys speed, skill, and wheeled sports.
