Grönvik nature reserve

Grönvik is a beautiful island and beach area by Stora Hensjön, a beautiful lake with low rocky shores and clear, nutrient-poor water. Most of the reserve, about 85 hectares, is water while 30 hectares is land.In the northwestern part of the reserve there is mostly spruce forest, while the middle parts alternate with fields, meadows and pastures. There are also deciduous groves with beech, oak, birch, aspen and hazel. In the southernmost parts, as well as on the islands, mixed forest with different tree species grows. Along Stora Hensjön's shores, among other things, gorse and birch grow. In shallow soft-bottom bays, fields of reed species spread out.

So far, there is no walkning trail in this nature reserve.
