Bondebacka herb garden

At Bondebacka farm you find the beautiful Örtagården (herb garden), which contains about 150 herbs, medicinal herbs and old croft plants. The herb garden has been managed by Motala Biologiska förening since 1980. Welcome to visit this oasis from early spring to late autumn.
The herb garden is most beautiful in high and late summer, but from early spring when the bulbous plants bloom and until late autumn, there are always some flowers that can be admired by the visitor. The entrance is lined with two hop plants. In 1725, there was a hop farm with 100 hop poles on Bondebacka. Where it was located is not known.
