Description
Along Lake Maren's western shore lies the ruin of Stenhuset—the first manor house built in Sundby. The manor was completed in 1669 but was burned to the ground on August 19, 1719, during the Russian Pillage. Construction of the new manor began in 1721.

Regulations
In order to protect the Sundby nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage permanent natural structures or surfaces by drilling, cutting, blasting, carving, painting or similar,
- break branches, fell or in any other way damage living or dead trees and bushes or damage the vegetation in general by digging up plants, such as shrubs, herbaceous plants, mosses or lichens,
- disturb wildlife (e.g. by climbing nesting trees, trapping or killing mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians),
- bring unleashed dogs or cats,
- camp for more than two consecutive nights in the same place or moor a boat for more than two consecutive nights at the same beach,
- make a fire,
- arrange competitions, orienteering events, camps or similar within zones 1 and 2B (see the map in the reserve proclamation, in Swedish).
