Description
Långängens Gård is an idyllic 18th century farm with surrounding fields, meadows and pastures. North of the farm is a burial ground from the late Iron Age, which shows that the place was inhabited 1000 years ago. The current manor house was built in the 1770s. The building is timbered and built in a way that was typical of smaller vicarages and manor houses at that time. The wing building is built in a similar way but is about 40 years younger. A hay barn and lodge from the early 19th century are also preserved. Since the farm has no contact with the sea, it has been well preserved. It is located in the Långängen-Elfvik nature reserve. The farm with café and restaurant is open to the public all year round. The same applies to the toilet.
