Description

Enjoy the scenic view from the top of Korpberget mountain. The tough climb is well worth the effort and the shortest way to the top is from the south. The area is home to a wide variety of plants and animals; ravens nest among the steep cliffs (Korpberget translates to "raven mountain") and many rare species of plants, lichens and fungi can be found in the forests here.

Along the top of Korpberget, pine trees grow on thinly covered bedrock, while deciduous forests surround the mountain below. The wide, unmarked trail from the northern entrance leads you though an enchanting forest of hazel, oak and aspen trees.

There are multiple places to take a swim on the nearby shores of Lake Mälaren.
