Description

Hundsjön Nature Reserve is named after the lake at its centre. Hundsjön is a small, brown-tinted (humus rich) woodland lake where yellow and white water lilies grow. The landscape is mostly gently rolling and generally easy to walk.

In an area affected by a wildfire in 2023, the rare and pyrophilic Geranium bohemicum now grows.

Marked trails guide visitors through the reserve, which is accessible by public transport. Please note that some journeys may need to be booked in advance.
