Description
Welcome to walk in the nature reserve on the wooded peninsula Getholmen. A well-trodden path takes you around the reserve. Here you can enjoy swimming and sea views.
The central part of Getholmen is hilly with many boulders. It rises 10 meters above sea level. At the highest point of the area there is an old fort, probably built in the early 1900s, at the same time as the Siarö Fort at Furusundsleden. At that time, the forest was probably not as dense, but there was a good view of the water and maritime traffic.
