Description
Since the spring of 2001, a house has been built on the foundations of the former pilot house at the eastern tip of Torrö, right along the fairway. The house is a similar copy of the original one and has two sections; one is a parlor that is always open and the other is a part that can be booked for a day for a fee, but you are not guaranteed to be alone. The house is lightly insulated and has an iron stove, which means that it is possible to stay overnight even in winter. The house is spartanly furnished and lacks kitchen equipment. There is a dry toilet.
Bring the same equipment as for camping, but without a tent and sleeping mat. Drinking water can be obtained in Torrö village. There is no rubbish bin. A maximum of eight people can stay overnight at the same time, but the ideal is three to four.

Vi kontaktade en av de bofasta på ön och hyrde den gamla lotsstugan en natt. Nyckeln och dricksvatten hämtades i byn. De fyra bäddarna är enkla men ändå bekväma. Hur det skulle kunna sova fler än fyra vet jag inte? Inomhus finns ett litet bord och några pallar att sitta på. Vi lagade och åt all mat utomhus. Dass och vedbod finns. Fina omgivningar och badmöjligheter. Om man inte vill bo så här primitivt kan man boka andra stugor på ön. Hör av er till någon av de bofasta!
