Description
The Swedish Broadcasting Museum is located near the center of Motala, on a hill in the middle of town in the Bondebacka area. The two tall radio towers are visible from afar and have become symbols of Motala. It was here, in the radio station from 1927, that the first Swedish public radio broadcasts began. The radio station in Motala is unique in the world, as it was the strongest in Europe at the time.
More information and the museum's opening hours can be found on Motala municipality's website
There is a parking lot and barbecue area near the museum.
