Facts
The castle is one of the largest on the mainland, measuring approximately 500 x 200 meters. Ramunderborgen's cold-walled stone ramparts are a total of 660 meters long, but the castle was fortified for the most part by the natural cliffs of Borgberget. Opinions are divided on how the castle was used. It may have been a refuge during times of unrest or it may have had a permanent population. It was probably built during the Migration Period.
