Description
The Pelar Cave at the foot of Pelarberget was formed by water a long, long time ago. It's not really a cave, but more of an overhang.
Pelarberget consists mainly of hard, hard-weathering granite, but at Pelargrottan there is, or was, a shifted zone of more easily eroded rocks. Some 2 meter high pillar-like formations remain at the far end.
At Pelarberget there is a parking lot for a few cars.
