Description
From the Middle Ages until the 1880s, mines have been opened, destroyed and reopened in the Närstad mining field. The 407 m deep Mormorsgruvan is the largest mine in the field and is considered to be one of the oldest in the Bergslagen region. Here you will find remnants of mining, a bar passage and a nice museum.
