Missjö naturreservat

Missjö Nature Reserve is located within one of Sweden's most delicate archipelagos and extends from forested islands in the central archipelago to the most barren islets and skerries in the outer archipelago. Most of the reserve consists of marine environments, only about 10% are islands, islets and skerries. The variety of natural environments is significant, with high natural and cultural values in, among other things, older archipelago forests, grazing archipelago landscapes, bird islands and marine environments. These habitats contain a number of species and plant and animal communities characteristic of the archipelago. Remains such as old sea marks, fishing villages and boat remains can be found scattered across the archipelago. For boaters, there are several good and protected natural harbors in the area. Rubbish bins (rubbish bins and dry bins) can be found on Äspskär, Grytsholm and Missjö norra udde. You can reach the reserve by boat or kayak.
