Kottorps naturreservat
- Nature reserve
- County: Östergötlands län
Actions
Description
Kottorp Nature Reserve was severely affected by the storm Gudrun in 2005. In the most affected parts, the storm-felled trees are still lying around, making it almost impossible to get around. In other parts of the reserve, especially in the east, the forest is still standing and makes for exciting walks around the openings caused by the storm.
A parking lot with an information sign is located about 300 meters north of the reserve. Otherwise, there are no trails or other outdoor facilities, but you are welcome to visit the area at your own pace. The large amount of dead trees on the ground provides an extra challenge for those who enter the area.

Directions
Take county road 1120 north from Berg towards Tjällmo. Turn left at Kottorp, about 7 kilometers north of Berg. From here it can be a bit difficult to find, so it is good to have a map at hand. From the turnoff, follow the northern gravel road past Fredriksberg and Rosenlund. Just over 0.8 kilometers after Rosenlund, turn left onto a small and bumpy gravel road. After 1.2 kilometers you will arrive at the reserve's information sign where you can park. The reserve is located just over 200 meters south of the sign and can be reached via a partly unclear path.
Regulations
Samtliga regler för reservatet finner du i beslutet. Regler för allmänheten finns också vanligen på skylt vid reservatets entré.
