Description

Welcome to Ekängsdalen and Ullstämmaskogen. The entrance is located south of Ekängssjön and has a parking lot, picnic area, dry toilet, windbreak and information sign about nature in the area. There is also a platform for bird watching. Several marked trails pass the site, including Östgötaleden and LOK-milen.

The rest area has a fireplace, so you can make a fire and grill your food here. Firewood is usually available on site, but if you want to be absolutely sure of being able to make a fire, it is recommended that you bring your own firewood or charcoal.

The rest area, toilet and bird-watching platform are accessible. This means that they are possible to visit with, for example, a wheelchair or stroller.

If you walk or cycle, you can reach the entrance to the area via the gravel road south from Haninge between Vidingsjö and Ekholmen. To Haninge you can take bus 1, 16 or 17. Get off at Middags- or Morgongatan. From the football field south of Middagsgatan, it is 1.4 kilometers to the entrance.

By car you drive Haningeleden. At the height of Korpvallen's football pitches in Vidingsjö, turn south towards Rosenkällasjön and Kolbyttemon and follow Rosenkällavägen for 2.8 kilometers. Then turn left towards Brukshundsklubben and follow the signs to Ullstämmaskogen nature reserve.
