[Linköping] Ullabergs and Mossens wetlands, loop walk

At Ullaberg and Mossen are Linköping's newest bird lakes. Around the wetlands there are some nice circular loops. The circular loops are part of the Östgötaleden trail and are connected to the stage between Vidingsjö and Hovetorp. If you choose the longest loop, the hike will be just over four kilometers long, but you can also choose shorter stages.

Along the trail there are several rest areas and nice viewpoints. At the northern entrance there is a covered picnic area, a dry toilet and a bird-watching platform. Among the bird species you may be lucky enough to see are cranes, woodcock and black-necked grebes. A long footbridge leads across one of the lakes.

The trail runs in parts through pastures. The Östgötaleden trail is marked with orange trail markers. The circular loops are marked with an orange square.
